The family room was cozy, but the bathroom cleanliness really needed attention.

I had a comfortable night in a clean double room, and I appreciated having a fridge to chill drinks, but the furnishings desperately need an upgrade.

Couldn't recommend more for a walk in evening
Cozy room, convenient location, with clean accommodations and a refrigerator in the room to chill your own drinks while being close to Prestwick Airport for easy travel access.
Don’t have any issues at all.

Had a cozy Twin Room with heaps of tea and coffee options and fresh fruit to boot! The sweet surprise of homemade muffins kept our spirits high after a long day exploring nearby eateries like Yasmins Fine Indian Cuisine and Grazianos.
On check-in, I was handed the key without a name check—very casual! The slanted ceiling in the bathroom had my partner banging his head, and we had to navigate blocked shower drains and a hot tap that nearly burned us. Eating breakfast on the floor wasn’t ideal, either.

During my stay at the Royal Hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from the owner, Paul, and the comfortable accommodations. The room was clean, with plenty of space and a lovely en-suite bathroom. I enjoyed the continental breakfast with fresh fruit and cereals, which was thoughtfully replenished each day.
Exterior needs improvement.

Chur, the room was clean and comfy, but the place could do with a bit of a tidy-up. Breakfast was solid with heaps of options. Quite a mixed bag!

The family room was spacious enough for our crew, and the hotel had a cozy bar where we enjoyed some darts while soaking up the atmosphere. Location-wise, it’s a great base for golf enthusiasts with stunning courses nearby, like the famous Ailsa course.
In my wife’s opinion, more kid-friendly dining options would be great.

The room offered a stunning view of Ailsa Craig, providing a lovely backdrop to our stay. Breakfast items included a generous selection of cold buffet dishes, with ample choices that pleased the family. the hotel's exterior could use some attention, as it appeared quite rundown. while the team was friendly, the cleanliness of common areas seemed to lag behind the standards set by the rooms.
